Relaxation Techniques


 

Relaxation is a psychophysical feeling. It makes people feel comfortable and relax muscle.

Relaxation technique is a direct and effective method to prevent the negative effects of stress on our health. It can reduce tension and arousal, replenish our body and increase energy.

Among relaxation techniques, hot bath, massage and recreation are the easiest and most common way to carry out.

  1. Hot Bath: It is relaxing and can speed up blood circulation, metabolism and excretion.
  2. Massage: It is relaxing, and can speed up blood circulation, too.
  3. Recreation: for examples, watching TV and movies, listening to music, karaoke, etc., are relaxing. When we are performing these activities, we have to fully devote in them and forget all troubles. It is because it can put all our problems and responsibilities aside for a while, we can replenish our energy and courage, as well as to re-organize our plan in dealing with stress and anxiety.
